Excellent customer service
I have had to contact Sage a number of times in the past mainly on their chat service as it is quicker. So yesterday I contacted the online service but the information did not help me for what I needed. So I contacted them by phone instead. I had to wait a while but I got through to an extremely helpful gentleman Gav Hole. I explained my issue and he remoted directly onto our computer and directed me exactly where to go swiftly. Nick Day was very helpful and kind…
Nick Day was very helpful and kind today. I was quite worried about what mistake I had made using the designer report editing. I gave him access to my laptop and he was able to let me know what the issue was and he fixed the issue. This has given me confidence in being able to use the software and that Sage have people that know their job. Thanks

Had an issue with HMRC and PAYE…
Had an issue with HMRC and PAYE payments. Talking to Lee Carlsen of SAGE became clear I had not been submitting an additional EPS report as have staff on maternity leave. Lee resolved the matter in minutes with a great attitude to customer care. Would suggest that EPS reporting should be automated with full payment submission as despite 20 years using the software this was new to me.

Importing Data
I spoke to Gail Edwards as I needed some help to working out if some standard monthly nominal entries could be imported in to Sage and she was most helpful in checking that this could be done and sending me the reference material.I should add that this call was needed because we have just migrated from TAS to Sage and I was directed towards Sage 50 accounts standard by the Sage/Tas team on the basis that this version of Sage would do all the things I used on TAS It was a disappointment to ...
