Robinhood crypto trading is not really "commission free
While I was appalled at Robinhood's behavior regarding GME, this review is actually focused on their Crypto exchange. I'll keep it short and sweet. Robinhood claims to have commission free crypto trading, this is misleading at best. Before purchasing crypto on Robinhood compare the spot price on a well known exchange like Binance and you will see how Robinhood can afford to not charge a commission fee, its because they mark up the price of the crypto significantly. I have used Robinhood for over a year…
I have used Robinhood for over a year and never a single complain until recently. I have found that in times that stocks are at all-time highs it usually says “trades at this time cannot be executed” pretty much meaning they do not want you to cash in your profits! They disgust me for doing what they did to GameStop! I do not understand why they took GameStop off of their platform.
