Spotsaas Editor’s POV
Riverside is a browser-based recording platform designed for podcasters, video creators, and remote interview hosts who want studio-quality audio and video without complex production setups. The software records each participant’s audio and video locally on their device, which helps maintain high quality even if the internet connection drops during a session. It ...Read more
Riverside.fm pros and cons
Users can record, edit, repurpose clips, and stream from a single dashboard, reducing the need for multiple tools.
Each participant’s recording is saved as an individual track, which provides more flexibility during post-production editing.
The platform offers text-based editing, transcription, silence removal, and AI clip generation, helping creators quickly convert recordings into publishable content.
Guests can join recording sessions through a link in their browser without installing additional software, making remote interviews easier to manage.
Compared with simple video call tools, Riverside’s subscription cost may feel expensive for beginners or hobby creators.
Automated tools like show-note generation or audio processing may not always produce perfect results.

"The solution for all our podcasting pains"
What do you like best about Riverside.fm? Since we started doing podcasts we had a huge pain in the form of personally managing all the technical stuff with Zoom, OBS, sound, etc. etc. The zoom quality was very bad, connection often lost, and generally recordings could be lost or corrupted without us knowing it.

"Amazing quality, so easy to use"
What do you like best about Riverside.fm? Riverside is so easy to use and the quality is top notch. You don't have to be a tech whiz to get it set up, which is great because I can't physically be there with my podcast guests to help them. I haven't had anyone have any issues and everything has been such a breeze!

"Saves me time avoids risk"
What do you like best about Riverside.fm? As a video producer avoiding the pitfalls that come with recording zoom calls over spotty wifi is a huge issue for me. When I found riverside it solved all my problems. Before Riverside I was trying to instruct guests how to record their video and audio on their end so I could sync it up with my end's recording. Riverside removed all the margin for error from that process and speeds up my workflow considerably with allowing you to format your video ...
