Not for Table service environments!

Revel POS has been a constant disappointment since we had the system installed about 2 months ago. Poorly designed, untrained customer support and frequent technical issues have created an added headache during a restaurant opening. What once may have been a competitive product has been left in the dust by the likes of Breadcrumb and Toast. WARNING! Look elsewhere for your ipad based POS.

Excellent customer service

I am not the most tech savvy person so I spent a lot of time on the phone with support when we first received the system. They were able to answer all my questions and when my support rep. did not know a question a manager quickly answered the call and helped get me set up as quickly as possible.

The Cloud seems to be the Future of Point of Sale Systems

Excellent cloud system, and there is no need for local servers. The side I like the most from Revel is the Technical Support team. No matter what time or day it is, there will always be someone that will be able to help you with any issues. Highly customizable, from the main screen at the POS to the Digital Monitor Boards. Totally worth it!

The Cloud seems to be the Future of Point of Sale Systems

Excellent cloud system, and there is no need for local servers. The side I like the most from Revel is the Technical Support team. No matter what time or day it is, there will always be someone that will be able to help you with any issues. Highly customizable, from the main screen at the POS to the Digital Monitor Boards. Totally worth it!

Easy to use POS but high upfront and monthly fees.

The sales person was very charming and later we learned the limitation of the way system integrates and the total cost involved the hard way. We had to purchases all new equipment from Revel at a high markup and the small iPad screens were way too small to work in the real work environment and had to return them and get the larger screens. It took us over a month and half to rectify all the equipment related issues as the sales person "oversold" the capabilities and we ended up spending 40% ...
