Better overall

There customer support was not too good in the beginning but they improved by getting a better quality phone system and have reps that speak better English. They also have been releasing useful updates to their software that has made our system easier to use.

Customer Service Setup sucks

There are some high quality and helpful people working at this company and I don't personally blame the people for my major issues with this company... with that being said their "customer service" system is terrible. They only want to communicate via email for real issues and they take forever. I have been left SOL many times because I wasn't able to speak to the right person who could help because "they are not reachable by phone. We can only communicate with said person via email". REVEL POS is the worst POS system we have ever had!

Their support is terrible. They are not chip ready so you will lose every fraudulent charge. They have cost of goods issues which destroys your QB file. Their integration with QB breaks all the time. I would absolutely not recommend this POS. We are leaving them!

Awful POS system

Awful POS system. Terrible and not intuitive back end. Terrible support. Consistent problems with stock control. All of the people doing their phone support seem to have no idea how the software works. Do not buy. Ever.

Poor Tech Support

When the system works, it's great - however when we have a network problem, as we have recently had. the support is pretty dissapointing. Our network/revel has been down since a recent burglary at our cafe and we have since been able to connect with our replacement equipment. I have had to pay for a local IT guy to sort the problem. This has caused great headaches and a lot of time on the phone. I should be able to count on local revel supplied IT people. I was told on the phone that there ...
