Good product
What do you like best? Ease of installation and setup. From there getting started is easy. What do you dislike? Update process. We've had a couple of occasions where updates broke our tests What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Automating the test that we previously had 2 qa staff doing manually. This has allowed us to focus testing on more important things

This product is very powerful if used the right way.
What do you like best? I think the approach of using repositories for identifying specific elements of the application under test is very useful. Additionally I would say that being able to write my own program code is vital to the success of testing automatically. What do you dislike? The proposals for the RxPath are often not the right ones. Use Ranorex for testing desktop application
What do you like best? Ranorex supports the record and play script. Elements types and actions are supported fully. What do you dislike? Ranorex path is difficult to understand Image based verification sometime is not stable What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Problem: The license is expensive. Benefit: - Test script run stably, easy to maintain, reduce effort in test script development

Great customer service
What do you like best? Whenever there is an issue I cannot find a solution to on the Ranorex forum, the customer service team is very quick to respond with answers to questions. Running tests on image detection has proven to be super useful in making more robust testing. What do you dislike? I get a lot of 'Ranorex cannot respond' errors, the system doesn't crash at all, but I have to close the same dialog box 10-15 times a session when I am clicking between modules. What business ...

Basic Automation skills
What do you like best? I enjoy the basic features in Ranorex that allow you to create automated test scripts without the need to code. What do you dislike? Could do with better assistance on creating code modules What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Regression packs of out enterprise systems. This saves time manual regression testing.

What do you like best? The best aspects of this software is: - reliability of testing steps during execution - the maintenance of the solution - the beginners-friendly approach What do you dislike? I think Ranorex teams have to make more efforts in order to organize the community to share more plugins, problem solving etc. The API need to be more documented and explained maybe with simple examples. Helped with our day to day testing immensely.
What do you like best? What is fantastic about Ranorex is that I can reliably run tests before I come into work. By having this done, I can review the results in an easy to read document and start my day off partially complete. It allows me to do more beyond just testing, which is quite valuable to our busy schedule. As an add-on, Spy is a fantastic tool that is accurate and fast. What do you dislike? No dark theme.
