"Might Be Better Than Kahoot"

What do you like best about Quizizz? I use Quizizz in my class as a quiz/test review tool. My students treat it as a game and enjoy it just as much, if not more, than Kahoot. Because of this, they enjoy Quizizz and engage with it for the entirety of the game, rather than losing interest halfway through like they would in a regular test review session. I also like that after a student gives an incorrect answer, Quizizz provides the student with the correct answer and gives them a wait time ...

"Huge Database - Last Minute Class Quizzes!"

What do you like best about Quizizz? I can search and find multiple quizzes for the current topic, and my students LOVE to play! What do you dislike about Quizizz? Sometimes I don't think they get extra points for answering before someone else, so there could be multiple 100%s and no real "winner" What problems is Quizizz solving and how is that benefiting you? Students don't dread quizzes anymore! I also use them as quick exit tickets or fillers when I have the extra time so that the kids ...

"The Better Gaming and Participation Program"

What do you like best about Quizizz? Quizizz has more modern graphics than other programs and a better free version. The basic (free) version for teachers is limited to 100 participants, which is usually enough. The other program is limited to 10. They also have great music and features like "eliminate two wrong answers." What do you dislike about Quizizz? At this point, I dislike that they keep changing their policies, and they keep changing their documentation. But I understand that that ...

"Greg Snelick's Review"

What do you like best about Quizizz? (1) Since I am a math teacher, I like using the equation editor (math templates) to make up my own quizzes, usually as fill in the blank, where students will submit an answer and need to match my answer. This is very useful because most of the students that I teach will go on to college. Prior to that, most will take an entry exam where text matching is very important. (2) Quizzes can be assigned either as homework or done live in the classroom (either ...

"Connected, Easy, Comprehensive"

What do you like best about Quizizz? Quizizz is an excellent platform to provide both in-person and virtual assessments. There are a variety of pre-made questions and quizzes to upload right into an assessment, as well as the option to create your own. Quizizz is connected to the Google suite, so it is extremely easy to attach an assessment to a Google Classroom as an assignment. The analytics are also fantastic, with the data showing strengths and weaknesses as a whole class, as well as ...

"Great app for special education students!"

What do you like best about Quizizz? I have been using Quizizz for 5 years now and I have to say that it is one of my top 5 apps to use in the classroom because it is effortless to use. It saves me a lot of time as a teacher, that I can import or teleport questions without having to create one from scratch. What do you dislike about Quizizz? The only thing I don't like is how the format for the questions when the quiz is ready to be printed is not flexible. I want to find different views ...

"Quizizz for Formative Assessment"

What do you like best about Quizizz? Quizizz is a fun way to review and reteach concepts. Students are more likely to participate with a game-like atmosphere. I also like that there are so many features that let you customize it to meet the needs of your class. For example, you can set the pacing so the teacher controls it when you really need to reteach. You can also open the pacing so everyone can work through as fast or as slow as they need. What do you dislike about Quizizz? Sometimes ...

"Great Motivator"

What do you like best about Quizizz? I like that students can see wrong answers and then attempt the assignment again. What do you dislike about Quizizz? I do not like that as a teacher that when I play the game with the students I can't see the scoreboard except when I answer a question. I like to answer slowly to keep the students engaged by thinking I really am competing. I do not complete the assignment most of the time. Recommendations to others considering Quizizz: Use it. What ...

The website does serve its limited purpose. However, it suffers from lagginess (which they blame on users' poor connection) , bugginess (some that affects functionality), poor UI design, and lack of quiz features. There also seems to be little/no/very slow updates to the features and functionality of the website. In the same span of time, other educational websites have made considerable updates to theirs while Quizizz is still stuck with the same question types.
