Quicken is the best overall package
Quicken is the best overall package for personal or small business uses. It has a lot of functions to cover almost all circumstances. I use it for my personal finances but used it for my business also. QuickBooks is a better option for a business with employees, inventory, and accounts.

Happy long-time user
As a long-time user, Quicken puts all my accounts in one spot, and provides an array of planning tools as well as reports of current activities. Their customer services is excellent, and they are continually upgrading the product, particularly for managing investments across different accounts.
