Bookkeeping software tool
I've been a Quicken User for years now. I have used it in volunteer work to keep financial records and I use it in my personal life to create and keep within my budget. You can search on categories of expenditures which is invaluable. It works well for keeping track of both philanthropic and social justice/political giving. Very easy for even non-technie people to use. We also use the information for income tax preparation.

I love using this program
I love using this program. I can use it on all of my projects - church and personal. I do, however, have a little trouble finding reports that I want. I want to look at a report each month or year that shows a breakdown of income and expenses and I have not figured that out.

I love Quicken
I love Quicken, it exceeded my expectations! I was reluctant to change over from QuickBooks but I got a new computer and my QuickBooks version was so old I would have had to by an updated version. I didn't want to spend a lot of money and all I needed was a software program to help me keep my household finances in order and allow me to track expenses, etc. for income tax purposes. Quicken does that and much more. It was easy for me to set up and I'm definitely not a tech savvy person! ...

I used QB for our business and personal…
I used QB for our business and personal for over 20 years and changed to Quicken in 2022 for personal only. While it took a bit of time to get used to the nomenclature differences, the basic tools are great for maintaining our day-to-day expenses and budget. We don't do anything fancy so were happy with the utility.

easy to use
We operate a neighborhood swim club and use Quicken to maintain the books. It's intuitive and easy to use. The reporting and drill-down capabilities are outstanding. I highly recommend.

EASY TO USE
It's so easy to use. Balancing a checkbook is so fast and easy. I really like the automatic "fill-in." It makes posting checks so much easier and simple to change the amounts and categories.
