I started with MS Money app until Microsoft ended that. Quicken did the same things only better. That remains the case. I lay out future cycles in advance as a planning tool.

Kev's Quicken
I am in quicken every day. I use it to maintain several accounts for personal use. Great for downloading CC transactions, if I had to do that manually, I won't. I use end-of-the-years reports every year - very easy to generate.
