Spotsaas Editor’s POV

Qase works best for QA teams running 5–50 people who need test case organization without heavyweight enterprise features. Before shortlisting, verify that its reporting metrics cover your specific KPIs—users report that custom report building is limited compared to TestRail or Zephyr. Check whether your team's existing test data can import cleanly from your ...Read more

"We were waiting 3 years to find a product like Qase"

What do you like best about Qase? The nesting architecture of test cases is amazing. What do you dislike about Qase? A couple of features have been raised with the qase team: - Ability to control whether or not test cases can be skipped. - Ability to archive test runs to keep them, but hide them from the view. Recommendations to others considering Qase: Qase is great if you are looking for a modern test case management system. What problems is Qase solving and how is that benefiting ...

"Nice, modern app, that still needs a lot of work."

What do you like best about Qase? Design, usability, functionality, customization. It's nice, that the free plan offers all I need, but I will insist on the managment of my company to switch to a priced plan. What do you dislike about Qase? The app has too many bugs, and it changes too often. It feels like using a beta version of the product. The amount of bugs and issues is way too big for the app that is created by and for testers. Recommendations to others considering Qase: It's better ...

"Incredibly powerful system without any extra features that just get in the way"

What do you like best about Qase? I love how easy it is to use and to learn. It is intuitive and full of features that make writing test cases a breeze. As a QA Engineer, writing test cases are just part of the job, but I secretly hate them. But ever since I started using Qase, I actually don't mind working on them. Using Qase is quite fun. It makes my OCD heart so happy with its organizational abilities and how everything ties together. What do you dislike about Qase? I have one tiny ...

"Probably the best test case management tool in the market."

What do you like best about Qase? The ability to share reports, the test case repository UX, and the ability to collaborate with the testing, development and business team. What do you dislike about Qase? I guess the thing that needs improvement is when you modify a previously ran test case, changes are also reflected in the previous test run which is already complete. Also, once a test case is marked as depracated, when designing test plans, depracated tests should no longer be displayed ...

"Qase is a good and easy to use testing management tools"

What do you like best about Qase? The idea of having "shared steps" which makes test case design much easier What do you dislike about Qase? Shared steps are great, but they cannot be grouped, let's say, according to subject, or category etc... copy/paste test cases or steps in a test case is not smooth, it'd be better if there was a possibility to drag and put steps from one case to another What problems is Qase solving and how is that benefiting you? I design test cases, according to ...

What do you like best about Qase? you can manage your cases, add them with custom parameters, run tests What do you dislike about Qase? it is not visible which cases are automated when adding cases to a run, and which are not until you go to run There are few statistics. There is no way to add your own dashboards. There is no way to see statistics on which suites are covered by autotests. You cannot view statistics by custom parameters. I have different types of autotests like a catsup ...

"Great Product, easy to use. Works well"

What do you like best about Qase? The ability the create custom Test Runs, and pick chose test cases from the repository. What do you dislike about Qase? Honestly nothing big so far. There were some issues when filtering Test cases but it seems to be continually improved. Recommendations to others considering Qase: Qase is a great all in one Test Management Tool, that we have grown to love. What problems is Qase solving and how is that benefiting you? We were having an issue with compiling ...
