So easy to use

What do you like best? This is such a great way to keep track of student progress, student information and of course grades. What do you dislike? Almost nothing to change. I do wish I could look at old assignments from semesters past. Recommendations to others considering the product I highly recommend PowerSchool to any public, charter or private school for grading especially. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Charter ...

One stop for Student Information

What do you like best? PowerSchool has grades, attendance, discipline records, medical information, student pictures, and demographics all in one place. I especially like that there are icons that show up next to a student when the student has an IEP, 504, or medical condition. What do you dislike? Assessment information from state or district assessments must be manually (rather than automatically drawing from other sites let me NWEA uploaded into the system, so this information is ...

PowerSchool changed my grading experience!

What do you like best? Easy to use, and I love that my students could see their grades in real time (and their parents could too! What do you dislike? I really don't have any complaints - it's a great system. Occasionally a little slow, but that might be my computer's fault. Recommendations to others considering the product As a teacher, I loved this system! What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Powerschool K-12 SIS great, but not the SPED side of it

What do you like best? Powerschool K-12 SIS is user friendly and runs some pretty handy reports What do you dislike? My work uses Powerschool as a K-12 SIS but also for special education to store, organize, and implement special education components (e.g, IEP, Eligibility, Parent Contacts, Prior Written Notices, etc..... We were told that Powerschool K-12 SIS and Powerschool IEP(SPED would communicate with each other which we thought would be perfect! However, Powerschool is basically ...

Power School is a good program for basic needs.

What do you like best? The Power School program is relatively easy to use. The mobile app is very easy to use as well and convenient to check, for both students and parents. The computer based program is good for checking attendance, grades, and basic demographic information. What do you dislike? While the general teacher view of grades is easy to view, the copy for services providers and parents is difficult to view at times. There are also other features lacking from the basic ...

Online Testing Leads to Disaster

What do you like best? The grading system is pretty standard. It's nice that it keeps you from awarding more points than an assignment is worth. (You can't award 1000 points for a 100 point assignment. What do you dislike? Attempting to use the PowerSchool online testing feature was a total disaster. I could not retrieve the grades after the assessment was taken by my students. I spoke to tech support, but no solution was found. A month passed and I had to exempt all students from a ...
