Awesome Tool

What do you like best? I like the feature that allows other applications to connect with the program. Example: our referral application speaks to Power School, allowing the data to be exported into PS to create reports. What do you dislike? Good transition to standards-based grading

What do you like best? I was skeptical when my district unrolled PowerSchool for more than just attendance management, but overall I think it's been a solid tool to maintain student records during the transition to standards-based report cards. What do you dislike? Many of the menus make it hard to see all of the features at once; there is a lot of scrolling. The UI is not the cleanest or most intuitive thing I have ever used. Easy to use

What do you like best? PowerSchool is easy to use and allows me to get things done quickly and efficiently. What do you dislike? There is nothing I don’t like about this. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? It allows me to manage schedules of students easily.

Newer version is easy to use

What do you like best? Everything is easily accessible from the main page. What do you dislike? I miss being able to right click to use special codes for assignments. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Grading is very efficient with PowerSchool. It is great that parents are able to log on and look at Children's grades as well.

A bit difficult at first

What do you like best? I love the fact that parents are able to see grades instantly and have access. It’s a great tool for counselors and administrators to run reports. What do you dislike? May take some time to learn how to navigate through PowerSchool. What do you like best? Super easy interface to learn. Very smooth to operate. What do you dislike? There is nothing I dislike about the application. Recommendations to others considering the product Go for it! Excellent for Assessments

What do you like best? I like how multiple students can take an exam and you can get real time results. This helps to for data driven instruction. What do you dislike? Sometimes it is tedious going through all of the tests just to find the exact test that you’re supposed to give. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Multiple students can take the same test at the same time.

Student count

What do you like best? I liked the ease of use when it came to doing and submitting student count. What do you dislike? I can't think of anything that I didn't like. I feel like the product was easy to use. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? It is nice to have the same software across all schools. I work for a management company so this was very nice.

PowerSchool support

What do you like best? PowerSchool allows users to make the most of the database for their unique needs. What do you dislike? Some inability to delete or remove fields or data. Recommendations to others considering the product I work with a number of districts and have never heard of anyone truly unhappy with the move to PowerSchool. Ease of access and nice interface

What do you like best? I like the navigation and ease of use compared to Edline. I particularly like the global view which shows a snapshot of all of my daughter's classes. What do you dislike? At the moment I have not run across anything I dislike. I also plan to look at the mobile versions of powerschool.
