I love Powerschool

What do you like best? PowerSchool is an amazing tool for both educators and parents. I use it on both ends. It is such an easy place to input and keep up with grades, absences, tardies, and even are able to make notes on grades assignments. This allows for excellent communication with parents when it comes to assignments. What do you dislike? I don’t have any complaints about PowerSchool. We did have an issue with manually inputting grades, but it has been improved quickly. What ...

What do you like best? I love that I can access it on my work and home computer as well as my mobile devices. I also like that it calculates everything for me and ensures that all of my information is up to date. You can also manipulate many of the settings so that it better fits your particular grading system. It is a convenient place to do attendance and get any important information about your students. Very good for a School System

What do you like best? The system is so easy to learn and makes keeping record easy. I like the number of options I have at my disposal when recording grades. I can mark a grade as late, missing, absent, incomplete, and exempt. What do you dislike? The only problem with this system is when I have students switch periods with me, their grades do not transfer from one class to the next, so I must manually reenter all the grades for assignments in the past. It is quite powerful and does the job, still a bit of room for improvement

What do you like best? The latest version is very well laid out. Everything is cloud based so no more clunky java apps to worry about. Finding the information you need is a snap and it is now quite mobile friendly. It integrates well with external software and makes my job a lot easier. What do you dislike? What do you like best? I like the different viewing options in PowerSchool and how it has all the students’ info in one place. What do you like best? Tracking attendance in powerschool is great! It's intuitive to use, allows the user to build seating charts, and it even allows for easy integration of substitute teachers. Awesome tool for parents, students and teachers to keep track of classes and grades

What do you like best? I love that PowerSchool has an app so I can check in on my mobile devise. What do you dislike? It gets frustrating when PowerSchool has to be updated because it limits access. What do you like best? PowerSchool is FREE and has LOTS of features and can be used for any class and any grade level. It can also be personalized quickly through themes which are easily accessible. Uploading students is extremely easy as rosters are already created (you just have to select the year and class) and students who leave the class or add the class are automatically updated. It works most the time

What do you like best? The attendance and student info features are easy to use. Some new gradebook features, like class grouping, are nice. What do you dislike? Ever since PowerTeacher Pro was implemented importing grades from a spreadsheet is next to impossible.
