What do you like best about PostgreSQL? We use PostgreSQL in production since 8 years now, in a multi-nodes HA setup based on the built-in streaming replication. PostgreSQL is a great database, offering high performances and allowing to easily scale read-replicas with the built-in streaming replication.

What do you like best about PostgreSQL? it quite light database that often good to run applications that are light like window 7 embeeded this is perfect that base like magic info application used for digital signage

"Open Source DB which is equivalent to Oracle DB"
What do you like best about PostgreSQL? Almost all features / objects including Materialised views, Views, Functions, Procedures, etc., in Oracle DB are available in it and it is open source so no need to pay any licence cost for the database, conversion tool / plugin is available to migrate data from Oracle DB to PostgreSQL. With few syntax errors entire oracle database can be migrated to PostgreSQL.

What do you like best about PostgreSQL? PostgreSQL is a mature database server with large user's community and continue development. Installation is very simple and also integration with multiple development environment is supported we user C++ library, PHP and Java integration
