Plivo is Pretty Good, With Great Support
What do you like best? Most of the features from Plivo are pretty good, I especially like the XML applications feature and that i can purchase numbers from various countries in the world and the pricing is very fair especially considering the local competitors can easily charge 5 to 10 times per sms. Very useful in our marketing effort
What do you like best? Very easy to use and the customer service was exceptional, answering my questions in a timely manner. This is a very cost effective tool to connect with our customers. Great customer service, better product
What do you like best? The price is great, and the features I need work great. What do you dislike? The API can be a bit of a pain. It's gotten better, but I still run into issues at times, What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? It's brought the costs down for customer-facing automation and is a much simpler and well-liked interface than what we had previously.

Does what I need
What do you like best? Pay as you go options work well. The API documentation was well defined, and even though I didn't work with the official SDK, I still managed to get the integration to work without too much difficulty. What do you dislike? Service uptime can be a little spotty. Mostly it hasn't affected me What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? I'm sending a 2-factor code to a mobile phone

It will get the job done
What do you like best? Plivo was easy to get set up, and was competitive in the pricing. We used Plivo over Twilio, which was a very similar SMS service that we needed. What do you dislike? We didn't like the monthly required payment for owning a phone number. For months we had activity on the service and it would be slowly draining the funds. Great product for sending SMS programatically
What do you like best? As a developer I found that it was very simple to send SMS messages via code in just about any language. I have used Plivo in C#, C++, C, and the Linux command line. I have never had a failure to send and get great feedback from the service when a message is sent. What do you dislike? There is nothing that I dislike about the service. Everything works great. 5 Years of Great Service - Plivo continues to perform for our visitor management system!
What do you like best? We have been using the Plivo API for the last 5 years to integrate with out Visitor Management System and send SMS alerts over to the residents in a gated community. We've had very minor issues over the years and reliability has been really enterprise grade! Any time that we needed support, it's very easy to contact an agent.
