Plan Grid - For Better Collaboration
What do you like best? Sharing current, collated information across teams, with automatic linking across sheets and sets. Easily compare sheet issuances. What do you dislike? Sometimes difficult to scale drawings. Still requires discipline for users to publish drawings, publishing not automatic. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Publishing current sets to all stakeholders.

PlanGrid = Awesome
What do you like best? It's ease of use. We were able to quickly integrate PlanGrid into use i our field. It is not a GC centrist software. We are a trade partner and we were able to easily adapt it to our workflow. What do you dislike? I have not found an issue. Any time we have had a problem, PlanGrid has responded quickly to resolve the issue. Recommendations to others considering the product: Do it. What do you like best? easy to use. view updated sheets, no papers, .... What do you dislike? the function to extract sheet name is not powerful. add more function in this area What problems are you solving with the product? Plangrid- Standard field report forms
What do you like best? I love the flexiblity that Plangrid offers for access to plans and other design documents in the field What do you dislike? Lack of standard forms/ checklists that collect data from field reports. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? What do you like best? The abuility to make sure the craft in the field have the most up to date plans What do you dislike? The search function on large plan sets. Once you find the plan sheet you where lookikng for you can not scroll up or back on the plan set. What do you like best? the ease of set up and getting field staff started and using it. What do you dislike? the permissions can be too much or to little for what some roles need. The stamps being limited to shape and number of characters What problems are you solving with the product? What do you like best? By using a single point of data, PlanGrid makes it super simple to compile and delegate information from a single point. No more hand written notes and transcribtion back in the office or not remembering photos. Everything is in one platform and makes the whole process simple.
