Great for doing punch and correction notices
What do you like best? We currently use both Procore and Plangrid to manage our drawings for a 400 unit apt. project and the superintendents prefer to use PlanGrid over Procore for the punch and for correction notices for its ease of use for marking up the plans with the necessary correction notations and for sending those out to the subcontractors. Lets me access the most current documents all the time
PROS & CONS What are the best aspects of this product? I like PlanGrid's offline access feature, its speed in opening pages, and a relatively clear UI that makes it a breeze to use. What aspects are problematic or could work better? Pricing keeps increasing and they recently got rid of free web accounts with no warning. If your invoiced account runs out in the middle of a project, you lose all access to your documents until you get it updated, which is a great inconvenience for me. ...

Good for small projects
What do you like best? Ease of use on a tablet and ability to mark directly on the drawings of issues. What do you dislike? Requirement to purchase for use of more than 20 sheets. Makes it difficult to share information to all users. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Ease of showing where punch list items are located

Great Software, Room for Improvement
What do you like best? No longer having to carry around stacks of paperwork with floor plans, BOM, typicals, etc. Plan Grid has been a huge lifesaver. Plan Grid is both web and app based which allows me to choose the program that best suits my needs at the time I want to use it. Customer service is also very helpful. What do you like best? Access to multiple projects on one platform. What do you dislike? Apps have to be A-framed into the program. Recommendations to others considering the product It fits well with managers handling multiple projects as well as field personnel who need to file reports and send RFI's for quick turn arounds. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Negates the need to carry around plans for every project.

Great Drawing Management App
What do you like best? - Easy to use platform - Available on all mobile devices - OCR to process your drawings and name automatically - Ability to manage your current set of drawings What do you dislike? My biggest complaint is that it is a stand alone software. Plangrid for Construction Professionals
What do you like best? Plangrid is a great app that is user friendly and allows access to drawings from any smart device. The quality of the UI is clean and works great with IPAD and Android. What do you dislike? 1. Editing tools are bulky and not as sleek as something like BlueBeam. 2.
