"Review of Planful"

What do you like best? Planful gives us the ability to quickly and efficiently consolidate Trial Balances for our 60+ entities each month. What do you dislike? There isn't anything in particular that I dislike about the Planful environment at the moment. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? The ability to Budget, Consolidate, and Report using one EPM system.

What do you like best about Planful? Planful gives us the ability to quickly and efficiently consolidate Trial Balances for our 60+ entities each month. What do you dislike about Planful? There isn't anything in particular that I dislike about the Planful environment at the moment. What problems is Planful solving and how is that benefiting you? The ability to Budget, Consolidate, and Report using one EPM system.

What do you like best? Planful replaces our manual spreadsheets for our financial reporting and budgeting processes and eliminates human errors. It also significantly reduces the amount of time it takes to generate an entire financial reporting package. What do you dislike? Formatting the headers for the reports can be aggravating. The design of the headers appears to have some flaws and can cause a lot of unnecessary time to figure out how to format the headers. What problems are you ...

"I think it's a powerfull tool, but has some improvements to do."

What do you like best about Planful? The reports are very intuitive, like pivot table in Excel, I love the spotlight and the possibilities that I have with it. What do you dislike about Planful? I think the "planing" should be more flexible, like a possibility to download and upload direct from excel in each template created, this makes the forecast/budget process easier and faster, not just this but an specific add-in to load all figures that I want without DLR, for example, load the ...

There's a lot of tools and trainings in place to help you maximize the potential of the solution and explore different use cases. What do you dislike about Planful? There's some inflexibility in combining data sources, which often requires custom or unique workarounds. Processes can as a result become bogged down and require more expertise to manage. "Planful has allowed our company to centralize our planning experience in a cloud based setting."

What do you like best? I like the reporting the best so far. It has given us the ability to replace previously excel driven financial statement reports. Also, we have our ERP transactions directly synced to the Planful system so to give drill through access to our transactions. What do you dislike? The reporting formatting could be beefed up some. "Host has been agile and offers a lot of benefits for us to improve our reporting."

What do you like best about Planful? Getting a single source of truth for us is very important. Host helps us to get all of our data in one place and is very user friendly. What do you dislike about Planful? Reporting security is not great. We don't like needing to administer security at the report level. I wish there was more visibility into the CTA calculation. What benefits have you realized? better planning, more looking forward , less looking back - very helpful in this environment to change plans right in the middle of our annual cycle
