Placeit Reviews in June 2026: User Ratings, Pros & Cons

Designer part falls flat 🙁

I subscribed to Placeit mainly to use it for designing text T Shirts. What a mistake! While the main original part works great... where you put your design on on of their shirts, the designer part is lacking terribly!!! What a shame!

Great Tool to give your content a boost :)

Placeit does a great job.

I've worked in printing for about 44 years. So I'm used to resizing images etc,. You will have to resize an image from time to time depending on the mockup you'll be using. There are simple tools within the upload image area to help. I'm new to using this and mainly have used the mockups but have found it simple to use with a large selection to choose from. A thumbs up from me and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others.

Placeit has been extremely amazing and useful tools for me when I'm designing for T-shirts and others. It has numerous templates, etc that I can use to make my designing task hassle free and its mock up feature is truly a bonus!

Placeit has been really useful for my business and ROI has been huge. Its a great time saver that is easy to use. I highly recommend it for anyone who needs to create mockups or branded materials as part of their business. The only reason for four stars is that customer service could be better when it comes to communication. When I had reached out, it took almost two weeks of back and forth to even understand my issue, which was then resolved in one day.

On the right track, not there yet

It's okay. I love the concept but there aren't enough "style" choices. Not all product designs are meant for ultra-modern settings and therefore don't look right and make the product look goofy. Example, if I do a shower curtain, my only choices are for cool, sleek bathrooms. Well, my designs are for Mountain-style Homes. My designs look ridiculous in those images and therefore can't use. Also for wall decor items, it would be helpful to give a sort option for vertical or horizontal (at ...
