They are always willing to work through the smallest question or problem, and are generally able to solve simple problems easily. Piction's access control and platform management have added great clarity and transparency to our day-to-day document management systems. What do you dislike about Piction? There are not dislikes for Picton, it is a newer platform using so I have not run into any issues yet. What do you like best about Piction? This is hands down the best asset warehousing platform in existence. What do you dislike about Piction? The price point is a little high for what you get. Recommendations to others considering Piction: Use it or lose it. What problems is Piction solving and how is that benefiting you? Working with the Piction team on an institution-wide (150+staff) implementation of their system for both digital image and digital document management has been wonderful. Piction has been very understanding of our needs, and has been able to speed up or slow down parts of the process to work at our speed, which has not been my experience with other systems in the past. The team at Piction works really hard to be a partner with the museums they work with instead of just another vendor. What do you like best about Piction? The system in and of itself is a great product offering extensibility with highly customizable features. In particular I find the metadata editing functions to be superior. With our particular instance we handle photography in a variety of formats, video and graphic files.
