I have well over a decades pictures on photobucket. Then they dropped a bombshell. Give us $399!!!. Trying to retrieve MY pictures is near impossible and they appear on the forums Blurred. I need not say more as photobuckets rating tells the story.

the website is so broken

the website is so broken, between the ads and the page freezing and not loading properly its almost impossible to navigate.unfortunately i have over 1,000 pictures on the account which was much less than the max when I created the account but now is way over the limit. and it seems i have to download every single one indiviually. I recommend if you have any pictures on photobucket to download all of the important ones as soon as possible because this website will be shutdown very soon.

Very unprofessional customer service

I would think twice not only about giving this company any money, but even using a free account as they do not care about security or you as a consumer at all.My account was hacked and private photos made public. I understand these things can happen and tried to nicely resolve the issue with Photobucket. They blatantly ignored emails trying to claim they never received them. After I was able to prove they did indeed get my emails they stopped communicating with me on Facebook. Even if they ...

First the quality of pics I sent were compressed now they are useless. You can get into them but can't even download them. Too many pop ups. I did use a pop up blocker but now they blocked that. Eff you Photobucket

Holding millions of images ransom for $400

Cheers for rendering all of my images completely useless with your watermark and paywall, Photobucket. I can understand adding the watermark, but blurring the images rendering them 100% illegible is absolutely absurd. You've made the entire Internet angry, I hope you crash and burn.

Unreliable, terrible comms, untrustworthy

They treat users and customers terribly, change their terms without warning, hold images to random and are generally untrustworthy.

Annoyed me into closing my account

Having added a limit of how many photos I can store, they seem to think that emailing me daily and popping up a reminder every 5 minutes while logged on is going to make me pay for more space. It had the opposite effect - I have downloaded all my photos and closed my account. The website is horrible anyway, very clunky and full of ads with large breasted women advising certain products. Avoid at all costs - there are better photo hosting web sites that are free.

How the mighty have fallen... Once they were the best photo hosting service and now they've become really horrible with their agenda. Stay away from this awful website. Hopefully they'll soon learn from their mistake.
