What do you like best about PerfectIt? I use PerfectIt to understand an author's style decisions and spelling and hyphenation choices. PerfectIt helps me catch small details or possible errors I might have overlooked. It's a really useful editing tool!

What do you like best about PerfectIt? PerfectIt was an incredible product even before the CMOS integration. It catches so many little things that would be easy for even the most accomplished editor to miss. I couldn't do my job as well as I do without PerfectIt.

"Essential software for every editor and proofreader"
What do you like best about PerfectIt? I edit book-length manuscripts and run PerfectIt at the beginning, middle and end of each project. It enables me to work more efficiently, and it never fails to catch errors that I've missed. The new Chicago Manual of Style built-in style is a huge bonus. I can't imagine being without it!

What do you like best about PerfectIt? Despite my best efforts in rereading my texts, I don't catch all the small details that make a text letter-perfect like consistent spelling, capitalization and punctuation. PerfectIt always seems to find something I missed even after I have reread my text more than once.

What do you like best about PerfectIt? One of the best parts of PerfectIt is that it performs the very tedious task of checking for inconsistencies. Just to list a few examples, it makes sure that hyphens are used consistently, numbers are written out the same way, and capitalization of section headings and table captions is consistent.

"PerfectIT - an indispensable tool"
What do you like best about PerfectIt? I always use PerfectIT as part of my workflow. It is fantastic as a consistency checker, especially on larger documents where this is hard to do in any other way. I have also customised the checks performed by the SW based on client requirements, so I can just select the client and know the SW will look for things like Oxford commas.

What do you like best about PerfectIt? PerfectIt is a 'perfect' tool. I'm a professional writer and ghostwriter and write a lot each day. And several times a week I also work on clients' writing for their publishing/writing projects. For years now PerfectIt has been one of my primary first steps in editing. It enables me to find, fix and correct basic errors or inconsistencies quickly so I can focus on the greater task of creating a compelling piece of writing.
