Spotsaas Editor’s POV

pCloud has been my go-to storage solution for over a year now. I love that it works flawlessly across my phone, tablet, and laptop, and the fact that I can pay once for lifetime storage is a huge win. It’s super easy to upload and organize my files, and the built-in media player makes streaming videos or music really smooth. I did end up paying extra for the ...Read more

pCloud pros and cons

  • pCloud offers seamless access across all major platforms—Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, Android, and web—making it convenient for users to manage files from any device, at any time.

  • One of the few cloud services offering lifetime storage options, pCloud appeals to users seeking long-term value without recurring subscription costs.

  • With its optional Crypto add-on, users can encrypt files on their device before upload—ensuring zero-knowledge privacy that even pCloud cannot access.

  • pCloud includes robust file versioning, allowing users to recover older file versions or undo unwanted changes—especially useful for collaborative projects or error recovery.

  • Unlike some competitors, pCloud’s zero-knowledge encryption is a paid add-on (pCloud Crypto), which may be a drawback for privacy-focused users on a budget.

  • pCloud does not integrate natively with document editing tools like Google Docs or Microsoft Office, making it less suited for collaborative content creation.

Fast cloud

What do you like best? Stable application that perfectly manages my PCloud premium account. You should only have more options and views for the part of viewing images on mobile devices, as it only has one view and is weak. Still, it is recommended What do you dislike? Excellent application Just add that when searching for a file automatically the results will appear as they are written. On the other hand the names of files that are not shown complete, would come out as a context menu or ...

My Favorite Cloud Storage Service

What do you like best? I use pCloud for more than 3 years. Recently I bought pCloud LIFETIME plan that provides you with a lifetime use of your Premium storage at pCloud for a onetime payment. I think pCloud is the only popular cloud storage service that offers a lifetime plan. One of the best highlights of pCloud is it lets you backup your Google Drive, Dropbox, and OneDrive data's to pCloud easily. This is great if you are migrating from any of these. What do you dislike? pCloud ...

pCloud; the best cloud storage for photographers and basically anyone else!

What do you like best? 2 TB cloud storage lifetime deal, it is an investment, but eventually, it will be cheaper than Dropbox. But the best part: It does not take up any space on your hard drive as most other cloud services do. You do have the ability to sync documents, but other files are just in the cloud. I can share links and see whether they are downloaded or not. And of course for photographers: The Lightroom plugin to backup your photos to the cloud. It is so much faster than any ...

pCoud Storage -- relatively inexpensive lifetime option

What do you like best? pCloud is a great alternative I use so that I can have easy shared storage. I used to use Windows onedrive, but I ran into two issues: 1 not enough free storage, and 2 I started using Ubuntu OS on one of my machines, and could not use the Windows product from that device. What do you dislike? I dislike paying anything, but here is a great option for lifetime 1/2 TB storage: https://www.pcloud.com/lifetime/ Recommendations to others considering the product Easy of ...

If you need a trustworthy cloud service, choose pCloud for your home and business

What do you like best? I use many devices - a couple of computers at home and at work, a cloud MFP, a home server, a smartphone and a few tablets. For me it was important to have all my files available any time on all my devices. I have tried many cloud services but almost each one of them had some restrictions in terms of space, traffic or sharing options. I was looking for a better service that offers plenty of storage, version history, secure folder, team sharing, lots of monthly ...

The process is also resumable, so you can set it and forget it. The service also lets you upload online files directly to the online pCloud drive and it takes mere seconds even for large files since the process is server to server. What do you dislike? The pricing could be more friendly to the personal ...
