I was scammed out of thousands of dollars buy Albert Smith who represented PayPal. I put in a claim when I discovered he was sending gift cards to random people. I filed a complaint they came back saying they WERE AUTHORIZED and Now won't except me calls. Be very aware.

If I could give 0 stars I would! PayPal is trying to steal $5K from me as I speak! I simply attempted to transfer money to from PayPal to my bank account, but it sent the money to someone else’s account!!!!

I have sold an item on eBay and…
I have sold an item on eBay and receiving it via PayPal. I have tried to log into my account with the correct email address and password which goes through then they want to send a code to my phone number via text or phone call and I have a previous phone number on my account. Paypal system down and nobody to talk to
I've been trying to access my account for the past half hour, and none of Paypal automated text or calls are working right now. I tried 6 times to get a text and 5 times to get a call. The call came through after the code had long disappered and no longer worked. There is nobody to talk to, not a chat, not a phone number. Surely there should be a system in place to overcome situations like this one!

This company is a scam! the stuff you have to do just to get your money when its released. they make it hard for you because they wanna keep your money discusting beware they move crazy. PayPal is an absolute joke they allow fraud to take place and when challenged they claim it was genuine how can it be genuine if you do not order nor receive anything. I have asked them to prove the transaction was legitimate they cannot.

Here’s what to do if they’ve closed your account
Like many others, PayPal have limited my account and are holding onto my money. Here’s what I would recommend to others with the same problem: Make a subject access request for all the information they hold about you, they normally have 30 days to comply. Make a written request for your funds to be paid out to you, if after 14 days they haven’t, or they respond saying no, start a case with the financial ombudsman service. If they want to be difficult with you, be difficult with them
