Appalling, heartless service from Paypal Here UK
Appalling service from Paypal Here UK. I am a 65 year old pensioner with a small jewellery business. Christmas is my busiest season for sales at local craft fairs. I have used Paypal Here for over 3 years to take card payments. Last Friday my card reader failed. I reported this and was told a new one would be sent out. Beware of using this service if taking …
Beware of using this service if taking card payments over the phone etc. Any transaction amounts totalling over $1,000 processed in a 7 day period will be 'held' (ie short term stolen by paypal for them to play with on the money markets etc without compensation) allegedly in case of dispute or a chargeback that may occur. This amount will be held for 21 days. They give no consideration to your cashflow etc and there are some real horror stories online about this. This is even if there is ...
