I'm a new business owner and my franchise had a trial period with Patriot Software. I still did my due diligence on similar products. Glad I went with Patriot Software. the pricing is competitive and the support is outstanding. Being a business owner, this was a little over my head, but they were there to do some major hand holding to get me set up. Peace of mind
Doing payroll for the first time and wanting to make sure I did all the things I need to do at end of year. With the Full Service Payroll Plan it was easy for me to see I had to only do one thing (send the W-2 forms) and that gives a lot of peace of mind.

Confusing and Complicated
User interface is confusing. Customer service must be contacted to complete simple tasks that should be available through self options. Simple task options that are basic to payroll are either not available, or are only found through unnecessary steps. After spending hours and days trying to manually add previous payroll not processed through direct deposit, I finally gave up. Too complicated. Patriot payroll service is the best!
I really enjoy using Patriot payroll. It is straightforward, intuitive, cost effective,, and easy to use. Their support group is excellent, whether using the chat or calling in. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and best of all, based in the US!We use their full service payroll service.
