Outstanding Experience
Our experience with Patriot Payroll Software has been outstanding. The software is intuitive and easy to use. If I have had a problem, could not figure it out and needed to get in touch with Customer Service, the process has been easy. Everyone I have talked to has been knowledgeable, supportive, and friendly. I would highly recommend their payroll software.

Coming from quickbooks payroll
Coming from quickbooks payroll, I was a little disappointed that payroll doesn't create state unemployment quarterly tax returns and the 940 form wasn't available when I needed it. But in general, it does what I need.

I SPENT MORE TIME TRYING TO GET THIS TO WORK RIGHT THAN I HAVE SPENT DOING PAYROLL WITH QUICKBOOKS OVER THE LAST 18 YEARS. Worst experience of customer service that I've ever had. It took more than THREE WEEKS to get it set up to work with Quickbooks. And along the way I kept getting told all I have to do is ... and it will work. Then when it doesn't work I'm told I have to do.... and when that doesn't work I have to do that. And each instance was 2-4 days apart because they are so slow to ...

This is first payroll software I've ever used and I find it to be pretty user-friendly. I'm only using the basic version, but I'm about to upgrade to the full version to take advantage of the other features.

Changed from a large payroll processor…
Changed from a large payroll processor to Patriot Software. Found stumbling blocks on the transition; but the help desk was the saving grace on doing our first payroll. After two phone calls and them walking us through the several questions we were able to set everything up. Time will tell at the end of the week if all will go as expected. I'm sure if not the help desk will guide us through our errors.
