I cancelled a membership but it showed in my membership listing still. i tried 6 times to cancel before contacting patreon support whom notified me that cos i have time left on it that will show untill the last day and then remove. They are a scam

They are a scam. Once they lock you in, they make it impossible to cancel. They tell you to watch a 7 minute video that guides you step by step to cancel via their webpage, but, their video does not even remotely represent what appears when you navigate through your account. It is impossible to follow the directions because they don't match anything in the content that you see. I went through the entire website and could find no possible way to terminate this membership. Awful and disappointing

Signed up to be a Patron of a group I really love. The membership tier I had entitled me to receive some merch after I'd been paying for 3 months. After 4 months, I hadn't received anything, so I raised a ticket. They promised to look into it, and said it was a problem with my address. I checked, and it was the correct address. I supported a company on their platform and after canceling and contacting that company and they refused to refund Patreon refused as well. They told me to contact the company and when I was ignored by that company and told Patreon they ignored me as well and I couldn't get a refund. -Professor Chen

Terrible customer service. Unhelpful website. Mystifying, unexplained charges to my paypal account. No response from Patreon regarding my billing history. They ought to change their name to "Patronize". Because that's how customers feel after about a dozen automated emails and phone messages. How do these companies ever stay in business???

Can't remove credit card from their system. Can't delete account. And my memberships keep renewing even after I canceled them 3 months in a row. Scam they just jeep charging your cc without Auth.
