What do you like best about Patreon? The advantages of Patreon are it's well-known, and I can upload text or images in seconds. I'm blessed with some Patrons. What competitors>. How thin can I, a multimedia artist and author, spread myself? I run my whole enterprise.

California start-up syndrome

Seems to me like you guys have taken a good core philosophy - supporting creators - and turned it into scummy business. Why is there no option to turn off billing? Why can't I donate/subscribe for a single month? Why are there no payment reminders? And why can't I cancel my account after I'm done supporting a creator, instead of waiting an arbitrary period? Eventually, I hope, you'll learn that customer satisfaction translates to sales, until then, au revoir.

ONE WEEK REAPONSE TIME FOR EMAIL SUPPORT??? RIDICULOUS. I AM NOT GOING TO ASK THE CREATOR FOR REFUND FOR THAT WEEK SINCE I STILL HAVEN'T HEARD FROM YOU AND IT ISN'T HIS FAULT. I WILL ENCOURAGE HIM TO LEAVE THE PLATFORM THOUGH. EMAIL CUSTOMER SERVICE?? WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU PPL? I BEEN WAITING ALMOST 5 DAYS ALREADY! NO REPLY WHATSOEVER

Full fraud, i am 1 year old patreon creators..last time i have 600$ account balance when i am going to withdraw they suspend my account without any message

honestly, I don't understand why all these negative reviews, our magazine has been funded through Patreon since 2014 and we have never had a single problem; We highly recommend this site as a platform for all creators to create recurring content :)

It’s a risk for sure

Problem with Patreon is the risk that you pay for something and don’t get what was promised. Most people give like $5 or $10 so get annoyed but not enough to get angry about. Meanwhile the person on Patreon has 45 subscribers giving them that amount and not producing anything. Flagging them to Patreon does nothing.

A scam run by a bunch of incompetants

The idea of Patreon is good but the execution is terrible. I made the mistake of joining for a year (A$100.00 plus currency fees. I wanted to download pdfs of chosen music. After log-on it directed me to their membeship tab and invited me to pay again. It indicated that I would be charged again next month after already paying for a year. I could never find the music I wanted to download. After cancelling on the same day as joining and asking for a refund I received a message saying that ...

Awful experience. Never again.

Made a mistake of subscribing to a sailing channel on YouTube thru the Patreon platform. It is virtually impossible to delete my account and stop payments leaving my bank account. I would never ever use this company again. I’m sure they will be fined for their actions one day and made to refund their unwilling customers.

Ghosted me on refund due

By their own admission, Patreon billed me 250 euros more than they were supposed to yet sent me to the content creator for a refund, who obliged, sending the money to Patreon to return to me and THEN Patreon kept it and ghosted me. It was some luck that I took a screenshot of the page confirming they were supposed to bill me just 80 because I could not find that page again. I didn’t the money back though. It’s been six weeks since they wrongfully took my money.

They STOLE my money

I am waiting for my FIRST PAYMENT for 2 WEEKS NOW! CUSTOMER SUPPORT IS DEAD! - NOONE ANSWERS when i send emails! - NOONE ANSWERS on their Facebook page! I wasted A TON OF HOURS to fill 6 levels for Patreons among with all the benefits. They stole my money, those hours got wasted AND I have to find another platform! Update: They've sent my money after 2-3 WEEKS !! Pathetic customer support! I had to sent them A TON of emails until they reply!
