Best way to support

I know this has a bad review but I wanna give you my experience and my one as a payer is this. I listen to a podcast thotstv it's about childrens media I've been a patriot for a few years now I've hurd new things unseen stuff and stuff you cant get on other podcast stuff. Recently there soundboard broke but because of the money from patron they got it replaced before long. So if you think it's a bad service I say give it a try you might have a different experience.

As An Artist, you don't have freedom.

For six months straight, I was writing Japanese doujins and novel, had subscribers, work requests but yesterday night as I tried to upload my next work and turned on their website. I found out that my account was deactivated and all the payments I had saved around 250-300usd gonna be refunded to the subscribers who had already gotten their requested work and commissions completed from me, I don't even know if the subscribers got their money back or not but the email said "child abuse ...

Dreadful

Dreadful, as per 1000`s people i do not receive confirmation emails or codes from them. Cannot change email address with a code. Cannot use the patreon app without a code all of which do not arrive. Not reply to emails or support tickets raised. Never know a company to treat customers so bad. They should be shut down.

Electronic begging by YouTubers. I never really understood this company. I get constant advertising from YouTube channels I sometimes view. I once subscribed to a channel was asked to pay 5 dollars, and after a couple of months I was charged 15.00 a month without my permission. I cancelled subscription before the initial month was finished. Never got refunded for the 2 months worth so 35.00 all told. This platform steals your money. PATREON IS A SCAM AND SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN LEGALLY !

This company is nothing but a place to scam people off their money ! I always gets charged twice in a month ! Then I blocked my card and started making payments manually. Yet when I pay manually they deny me access the next day asking me to pay again ! I am taking it legal this time ! Just imagine how many pple they have swindled !!! Time for patreon to shut down !

Every payment is at the start of the month

Paid for a 'month' at the end of the month at June 27. Then after a couple days got a mail that they need new payment for the next month or i will lose the subscription. So i paid for a 'month'. But in reality i got 3 days. Never buying again.

Atrocious support and company

Given the fact that they hold their customer's money, their support is almost criminally bad. Patreon provide no way to contact them (apart from an online form) and there's no way to call, chase or escalate an issue if they choose to ignore you. They need regulating.

I'm absolutely appalled with this company. For over a year I was paying €14.76 for a membership to a patreon page and all of a sudden I stopped being able to access the account. Even though I still get emails from the creator and have access to the private page on Facebook that you only have access to when you are a paying member patreon tell me they can't find record of my account. Very unhappy with this platform

Very unhappy with this platform. Little did I know that as soon as you cancel your subscription you can’t watch any of the content you paid for. I paid for 5 videos ( over £50) and Patreon did not let me watch them. They weren’t very helpful trying to solve this issue and their disregard responsibility. I understand they say it’s the patreon accounts responsibility but I think It’s a dodgy platform as you have to one backing you up as a costumer. Wouldn’t recommend.

Soulless corporate website

I really hate how they have made this site, setting up memberships is super easy, cancelling them and unfollowing people is an absolute pain.
