Are you using Pardot?
Spotsaas Editor’s POV
Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (formerly Pardot) is a marketing automation platform built for B2B teams already using Salesforce. Its integration with Salesforce connects sales and marketing data directly—lead tracking, nurturing, and conversion workflows pull from the same system. The platform handles email automation, lead scoring, segmentation, ...Read more
Pardot pros and cons
Full marketing suite covering automation, lead scoring, segmentation, and campaign execution.
Direct Salesforce CRM integration gives unified pipeline visibility across sales and marketing.
Drag-and-drop tools for landing pages and emails work without technical expertise.
Analytics and reporting let teams optimize campaigns and track performance.
Steep learning curve; custom branding and advanced features require technical expertise.
Pricing is prohibitive for small and mid-sized businesses.

Pardot Review
What do you like best? Full integration to Salesforce.com, including last activity shown in lead records. What do you dislike? How many components need created to run a nurturing campaign and not a way to create them on the fly if it's not been created already. I would suggest a 'create new' option if it's asking you for a campaign name and you haven't yet created it. Recommendations to others considering the product While looking at Pardot; I would compare Hubspot and Leadformix ...

Great Marketing Automation
What do you like best? I like that the software is intuitive and most users can pick it up relatively quickly. Gives us great insight to the flow of traffic on our site. What do you dislike? More reporting features such as export to excel. Also more integration with Netsuite to allow quotes/estimates to be carried back over automatically. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We are currently using Pardot for Marketing Automation ...

Pardot Review
What do you like best? I like that Pardot has a lot of features that make the job as a marketer easier. I also like the import from URL feature in building landing page templates. What do you dislike? I dislike the email editor. It is necessary to have a background knowledge of HTML to build attractive emails that render across all platforms. As a web designer, I always just go straight to the HTML tab in order to fix any issues and create emails rather than even bothering with the ...

Service and Support are deplorable
What do you dislike? They renew automatically and after notifying them Recommendations to others considering the product So far it seems to be the best marketing automation software to use if you are a current Salesforce user. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We implemented in 2014 with the promise of unlimited support, detailed reporting, and google adwords connectivity. At this time we have none of those things. They auto ...

The worst customer service I've ever encountered (upper management only)
What do you like best? The product seemed like it would be great, has some better reporting features than our previous solution (Act-On. My sales rep and CRM Engineer were nice to work with, but upper management has treated us like garbage. What do you dislike? I signed on with Pardot in January, very eager and highly motivated to get a new solution in place. However after many false starts over the course of three weeks, it came to light that Pardot does not work with our ...

Good marketing automation tool for those starting out
What do you like best? Pardot's ease of use and helpful support team are standouts for the product. The new email layout previewer that allows you to see how emails render across major platforms is a game-changer. What do you dislike? The product needs more enterprise features and features that allow it to scale. Cloning must be further facilitated, analytics need some beef. Logic and workflow features can be augmented. What business problems are you solving with the product? What ...

Waiting for more integration with SF.com
What do you like best? I like pardot's ability to integrate into the website. I like the integration with salesforce.com but want more features. What do you dislike? There are too many layers to complete a task, not all in one place. Set up a campaign in one place, create a form in another, build the page in another. It should all be in one campaign. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Demand gen and lead gen
