Spotsaas Editor’s POV

Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (formerly Pardot) is a marketing automation platform built for B2B teams already using Salesforce. Its integration with Salesforce connects sales and marketing data directly—lead tracking, nurturing, and conversion workflows pull from the same system. The platform handles email automation, lead scoring, segmentation, ...Read more

Pardot pros and cons

  • Direct Salesforce CRM integration gives unified pipeline visibility across sales and marketing.

  • Drag-and-drop tools for landing pages and emails work without technical expertise.

Solid Marketing Automation Tool - Easy to Use and Gather Results

What do you like best? The learning curve for Pardot is not that steep, which makes it extremely easy to cross-train members of your marketing organization. The metrics / analytics are quite robust, so reporting back to your sales team members enabling them to triage calls appropriately takes no time at all. Overall, Pardot is a HUGE time saver for us, and it is critical to our day-to-day operations. What do you dislike? I am not a fan of the built in e-mail editor. For someone who ...

The IT side of implementing Pardot.

What do you like best? Smooth, clean interface; surprisingly short learning curve for non-technical employees considering the feature depth of the product. What do you dislike? When composing email and landing page templates, the WYSIWYG editor is a little buggy (although I've never seen a WYSIWYG editor that isn't. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Coming from a background developing for CRM software, connecting your ...

Better Marketing Automation and Integration

What do you like best? I was quite happy about the announcement some time ago about Pardot becoming a part of salesforce.com. This made a lot of thing easier as we are using salesforce.com as well. The integration, especially with that CRM tool, is good and works successfully for us. Beside that Connector, it is also easy to create others for other digital worlds. Pardot is an easy structured tool, what makes it really simple to work with it. In case someone new needs to get started ...

Marketing Campaigns with Pardot are Easy

What do you like best? All most all the modules I use such as landing pages, forms, lead nurturing and email marketing programs. What do you dislike? Frankly, have got so used to Pardot, am thinking actually.......Its the best in its space Oh yes, got one - the cost...LOL On a serious note, what I don't like in Pardot is it has not evolved with features like events management automation, social marketing integration, data cleansing or hygiene administrative utility to ...

2 Time Pardot User - Very Happy

What do you like best? My favorite thing about Pardot is not actually the product but the people that stand behind it. The product is very good and allows us to do some incredible marketing but like any tool, you need help/support/advice/ideas/etc and the Pardot team is incredible in this area. What do you dislike? Like any SaaS tool, there will be bugs and quirks from time to time which always seem to appear at the worst time but they do a good job of helping you through them in a ...

Newbie and enjoying the journey

What do you like best? Pardot is very user friendly with lots of resources spelled out precisely to help you. So much to take advantage of to help grow your business! What do you dislike? We recently went through a migration period and for our package we were paired with an outsourced company. They were helpful but did not have an intimate knowledge of everything Pardot which was difficult at times. Recommendations to others considering the product Just do it! And if you use ...

An indispensable marketing tool

What do you like best? Easy to get up and running, good user interface, yet complex enough for the hardcore. Pardot also has a great knowledge base if you want to learn on your own, and their customer support is very helpful should you need to contact them (which I have, quite a few times. We use it for: • Email marketing • Landing pages (for lead gen • Drip campaigns • Reporting What do you dislike? Lackluster report export capabilities. It would be great to be able to ...

Marketing automation made easy

What do you like best? Getting Pardot integrated into our site was fast and simple. The onboarding process with the advocate was a seamless process and the simple UI makes Pardot easy to learn. Pardot's integration with Salesforce and the connectors to Adwords, Wistia and Olark are really great. What do you dislike? My pet hate is the way native forms (iFramed into pages register as views in the prospect record. I worked out a way round this but this was a minor irritation! (I know ...

I like the daily prospect report, which shows me if anybody (who is a record in salesforce under my name makes any changes inside our app, on the site, etc. it tells me when would be the best time to reach out.
