Pardot is an excellent automation tool

What do you like best? My company uses Pardot to help automate our email marketing efforts and nurture leads. Whether using a drip campaign or general newsletters, it's extremely helpful that we can see who opens our emails, what they clicked on and how they interacted with the emails. This then lets our sales team know who is genuinely interested in what products and can then reach out them on a more personal and targeted level. What do you dislike? There isn't much to dislike about ...

Solid product with great support

What do you like best? Pardot gives us complete visibility into what how each prospect has interacted with our marketing campaigns. Without that it's pretty tough to justify any marketing you do, right? Getting down to activities on the prospect level, in a seamless way from Pardot into Salesforce, has been transformative for us because we can now see which activities/campaigns are actually touching/influencing/generating leads that close with new business. Before it was hours of trying ...

Poor Integration and Jargon Use

What do you like best? The emailing feature is strong. I like the segmentation as well. What do you dislike? The integration between Pardot and SF is not nearly as easy as it should be - especially considering SF owns Pardot. Standardizing the jargon would be a huge first step. "Campaigns" in SF are completely different than "campaigns" in Pardot. Plus the customer support is extremely poor. Recommendations to others considering the product Make sure you understand how ...

Pardot has forever changed the way we do email marketing

What do you like best? The simplicity of the UI. Filters are great and lead to easier ways to manage and sort prospect data. Drip campaigns are great because before Pardot all campaigns were done manually and ever-so-often. Pardot truly helps our business stay in front of our audience and it has really helped our business grow. What do you dislike? There needs to be more room for customizations of data and reporting, especially reporting. All the time there is data I need and I goto to ...

The templates are great and there are a lot to choose form, but creating an email from scratch is somewhat challenging. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Understanding where our leads are coming form and exactly what they are interested in. That allows us to approach certain groups of leads from a specific perspective.

Pardot Likes and Dislikes

What do you like best? I like being able to change fields in our CRM. I also love that it links to custom objects. The forms have been invaluable so far. I love our tracking on landing pages. I feel there is a good amount of automation surrounding the product. What do you dislike? I wish the custom objects did not have to be associated with leads. More lead scoring options and visibility into link tracking. Integration with more social platforms, forms, etc. I with the email design was ...
