Pardot pros and cons

  • Full marketing suite covering automation, lead scoring, segmentation, and campaign execution.

  • Direct Salesforce CRM integration gives unified pipeline visibility across sales and marketing.

  • Drag-and-drop tools for landing pages and emails work without technical expertise.

  • Analytics and reporting let teams optimize campaigns and track performance.

  • Steep learning curve; custom branding and advanced features require technical expertise.

  • Pricing is prohibitive for small and mid-sized businesses.

Used at 3 Companies Now Since 2011 - I love Pardot

What do you like best? I love their integration to Salesforce and ability to match and manipulate the syncing and records used in either platform, through multiple methods - campaigns, direct syncing, auto 1:1 creation syncing... What do you dislike? I dislike the fact that we cannot work with all SF fields, custom and standard when working with information in Pardot. Currently it's limitied to Lead or Contact specific information. I've love to be able to use custom objects to factor ...

Pardot is wonderful for small, agile B2B marketing teams...

What do you like best? Pardot is very easy to use compared to Marketo and other MA systems. I would recommend Pardot to any marketing team that needs more speed to market and less complicated processes. It's great for those that work very closely with their sales teams in Salesforce (perfect for B2B! as it offers complete integration and gives sales per contact/lead visibility into marketing responses (no need for API syncs to Salesforce like you need to do with Marketo. Love the custom ...

Very easy to use Marketing Automation

What do you like best? The ability to customise emails in a simple WYSIWYG HTML editor, that also allows the user to make changes through inspecting element in browser. Then, it's equally as simple to input them into Engagement Studios for nurture programs. What do you dislike? I'd like to see more possibilities with reporting presentation. The ability to draw custom reporting data from email sends and use it to build various types of graphs and charts within Pardot. What business ...

Just getting started

What do you like best? The metrics that we can now see are great! What do you dislike? There seems to be a lot of functionality we're not using but should be. We're having trouble getting this to the end of the trough. Or implementation wasn't as easy as sold. Recommendations to others considering the product Good help managing the product internally What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Marketing automation, website traffic insight

Great Marketing Automation tool, could use work on "user friendliness"

What do you like best? All in one tool. Being able to track, create and sync your marketing automation is necessary for today's marketing realm. What do you dislike? As mentioned in the title Pardot could use some work on the ease of using the platforms. I'll be honest I came from a marketing automation tools that kind of stepped you through the process right from the get go. It's important that a software tool keep its user in mind. Marketing life saver

What do you like best? Pardot is incredibly user-friendly. It is easy to plan, organize, and launch campaigns, and then measure results. It integrates seamlessly with Salesforce, which allows our sales team to be in tune with what marketing is doing. Segmentation is easy with list filters, allowing for targeted marketing to different regions, industries and titles. What do you dislike? Only dislike is that it considers all leads as "Prospects." It doesn't allow for different statuses ...
