Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (formerly Pardot) is a marketing automation platform built for B2B teams already using Salesforce. The platform handles email automation, lead scoring, segmentation, ...Read more

Pardot pros and cons

  • Full marketing suite covering automation, lead scoring, segmentation, and campaign execution.

  • Direct Salesforce CRM integration gives unified pipeline visibility across sales and marketing.

  • Drag-and-drop tools for landing pages and emails work without technical expertise.

  • Analytics and reporting let teams optimize campaigns and track performance.

  • Steep learning curve; custom branding and advanced features require technical expertise.

  • Pricing is prohibitive for small and mid-sized businesses.

User friendly and effective

What do you like best? I have used many different Marketing automation tools before, but Pardot is the one I liked the best for several reasons. It is easy to use, and easy to setup. I was able to setup Marketing drip campaigns in less than 30mins. Unlike other complicated tools, I have been able to setup almost all the integrations and automation points myself. It also offers a lot of new features that other tools have, but at the fraction of the cost of some of those Enterprise level ...

Stick with the training - worth the end results!

What do you like best? I love the deeper dive into email marketing analytics -- being able to compile a list of "Warm leads" based off of their interaction with the emails is invaluable. I use it everyday. Plus the content marketing forms is perfect for my team. What do you dislike? There is a learning curve and some weird bugs but you can overcome them and it's worth it Recommendations to others considering the product Take courses or training lessons online or in person - it is ...

Lots of additional benefits!

What do you like best? I love being able to see a customer journey before they even get a call from our guys. It really allows us to get a feel for their current pain points so we can tailor our calls and emails to win more business. Also, being able to see who is on what pages and what time give us direct, real time feedback on how our website is performing. We didn't realise it even did that! The engagement studio is really cool piece of kit. The UI is so cool and is a unique way ...

And support is unbelievably SLOW to respond Recommendations to others considering the product If security is a concern please do not host forms, landing pages or files in Pardot as they are not HTTPS secure. Many capabilities – not exactly user-friendly

What do you like best? Pardot doesn't lack for features, and its back-end tracking is rich and easy to access. Pages look pretty good as well What do you dislike? It has a bit of a steep learning curve (though in all honesty, it's not any steeper than Marketing Cloud or anything else within the non-user-friendly Salesforce universe. Formatting options are limited, too. Recommendations to others considering the product Try it against Marketing Cloud before you buy. What business ...

Pardot Helps Us Target Our Marketing

What do you like best? Prior to using Pardot, we could track our marketing emails, but nothing else. Pardot has allowed us to track all of our digital marketing efforts, allowing us to know how our marketing dollars are working for us. It gives us the opportunity to target and be more successful. What do you dislike? Very little. We're still relatively new customers, so we're still learning the full power of the tool, but we haven't found much to dislike. What business problems are ...
