The platform handles email automation, lead scoring, segmentation, ...Read more

Pardot pros and cons

  • Full marketing suite covering automation, lead scoring, segmentation, and campaign execution.

  • Direct Salesforce CRM integration gives unified pipeline visibility across sales and marketing.

  • Drag-and-drop tools for landing pages and emails work without technical expertise.

  • Analytics and reporting let teams optimize campaigns and track performance.

  • Steep learning curve; custom branding and advanced features require technical expertise.

  • Pricing is prohibitive for small and mid-sized businesses.

Happy with the tool

What do you like best? Easy segmentation, tied directly to our main salesforce database, provides an amazing level of data connectivity for our organization. What do you dislike? Small annoying things, like the fact that test emails show in my sent emails view. Nothing major. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We're democratizing data across our organization. End salesforce users who are not marketers can see and track response ...

Engage Leads + Clients Like A Pro

What do you like best? Pardot closes the reporting loop for us in Salesforce (Sales Cloud. We can automate marketing ROI reporting as well as view our Customer Life Cycle. Overall it is a power system, easy to use with a great deal of resources available and fantastic support. What do you dislike? The out of the box templates are dated, so to make your emails + forms look modern you require a lot of HTML + CSS knowledge. I can't believe Salesforce Engage is a paid extra and not a bonus ...

Good for B2B Enterprise

What do you like best? Pardot's integration with Salesforce makes it a reliable option in Enterprise. Its features also allow us to create a digital marketing foundation that scales with a corporate brand, as well as business units. What do you dislike? The features aren't as quick to update as smaller, more nimble tools. The WYSIWYG email builder does some strange things to the code that cause it to break in select email clients, so it's often better to code a few templates that can ...

Great for B2B Marketing Automation

What do you like best? One feature that is really useful for us is its integration with Salesforce CRM to easily send new leads to the Sales team and a lot of the Pardot activity meta data carries over so that's great for reports. What do you dislike? I really think the Social tool in Pardot could be improved a lot. I know Pardot doesn't really focus on the social aspect but it would be nice if it could support more social channels and also improve its analytics. A lot of the ...

Pardot is my internal sales team

What do you like best? Simplicity. Great UI. Pardot makes it easy for me to run multiple campaigns What do you dislike? Does not tell you when emails are about to go out. You need to really pay attention and keep content up to date or your webinar announcements may go out AFTER the event has already occurred. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Pardot is my internal sales team, feeding leads to my external team. We have found ...
