Spotsaas Editor’s POV

Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (formerly Pardot) is a marketing automation platform built for B2B teams already using Salesforce. Its integration with Salesforce connects sales and marketing data directly—lead tracking, nurturing, and conversion workflows pull from the same system. The platform handles email automation, lead scoring, segmentation, ...Read more

  • Direct Salesforce CRM integration gives unified pipeline visibility across sales and marketing.

  • Drag-and-drop tools for landing pages and emails work without technical expertise.

Powerful marketing automation with a few headaches

What do you like best? Rock solid integration with Salesforce. Users can see marketing and campaign activity right on the prospect record, and it's very easy to setup. Engagement Studio is amazing for quickly building automations and workflows. The feature is smart, intuitive and powerful. The support team is responsive, and truly committed to your success. What do you dislike? I never imagined I'd be learning this much HTML when I implemented Pardot. The forms, email templates, and ...

Love Pardot, but it has its flaws

What do you like best? The ability to sync activities from Pardot and our website to Salesforce. As well being able to set up automation rules and programs that help take out our 'human' errors. So, when it comes to somebody submitting a request for quote on our website, we have an automation rule based of geography that will auto-assign to the correct rep. Because of this, we take out the middle man that had to look at it and determine who to send it to. And when it comes to our web ...

Incredible, the Amount of Information You Get

What do you like best? You can literally parse through individual email addresses to see what they're doing—opening/clicking on your emails? visiting your website? filling out forms? How long are they spending doing these things? Plus, you can rank people to see how likely they are to be a good customer/applicant (whatever your goal is. Simply amazing. What do you dislike? The email building is quite clunky. No easy way to add buttons or rearrange the content blocks, for instance. ...

Decent Marketing Automation Tool

What do you like best? I like Pardot's ability to segment lists by landing page, activity, inbound source, etc. The automation rules have been very advantageous for us as. The Engagement Studio looks really great too, but I have not dug into it yet. What do you dislike? I wish the ability to build lists from scratch was a little more robust. I can't seem to find a way to build a list aside from activity and a few other options. For example, I'd like to build a list of all leads with a ...

Single greatest thing that has happened to mid sized- large businesses with a sales team

What do you like best? It's ability to integrate with Salesforce and flexible API. It is particularly a useful tool for mid-large sized businesses that have an active sales team and need to work with Marketing to close accounts. What do you dislike? Too complicated for a first time user. There are so many outs and solutions that if you are a first time user, you will get confused. I dislike that the team has not made this easy for smaller teams. Recommendations to others considering ...

Pardot makes my job so much easier, but could use a few improvements!

What do you like best? Everything is brought together & done in one platform. It reduced the amount of data entry required by our sales assistant, and has significantly improved the amount of data we have about our visitors and prospects. What do you dislike? I wish there was a way to customize the reporting function. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We are now able to see where our prospects/conversions come from and after ...
