"Great features for education"

What do you like best about Panopto? Authentication options that are integrated with our university's LMS are important to our workflow for instructors to offer video lectures for distance learning. Also, the majority of students prefer the Panopto UI over other department's video hosting options. (Tegrity; Mediasite; etc) What do you dislike about Panopto? What do you like best about Panopto? They provide excellent support and truly believe in their product. I love its detailed analytics, video management, easy to use recorder, and the ability to schedule recordings and even live broadcast. I also love the integration it has with 3rd party companies to caption video content. What do you dislike about Panopto? I dislike it's captioning editor. What do you like best about Panopto? I like that you can record multiple sessions and make them available as needed. What do you dislike about Panopto? What do you like best about Panopto? Easy to record and share video lessons that we can share across the district for teacher trainings. What do you dislike about Panopto? The videos some times take long to load but this may be more related to our internet connectivity. What problems is Panopto solving and how is that benefiting you? Allows for more people to receive the training without the trainer having to go to so many different locations.

What do you like best about Panopto? Panopto allows us to reach employees who may not be based on our main campus. We primarily use Panopto to livestream and record guest speakers, important meetings, and divisional updates. What do you dislike about Panopto? This is just part of the technology world - but we did have to invest in quite a bit of equipment to use Panopto in the way we needed to. We purchased a camera, tripod, mixer, speaker, and lots of cords to make everything work. ...

It seemed that there were not many different options to create a more visually appealing video.
