Useful service, quality can improve
The service itself is very useful for hiring talent abroad. The organizational structure and attention to detail can improve. Almost every interaction required me correcting staff, or requiring more information. I feel like a general runbook and templates are used, instead of catering to the individual and paying attention to the details. Don't make the user do the work for you. Unprofessional and unethical.
Simply an information grab. Less than a week before our employee was due to start, I was told that they had made the business decision to not proceed with the hire because we had only one employee. Which they obviously knew when we engaged Oyster in the first place. We were left to scramble to onboard our hire through another EOR (which has thankfully been a wonderful experience). *Updated after Oyster's response: That is simply not correct. Oyster is a great platform which takes care of employees
Oyster is a great platform which takes care of the employees. They take initiatives to provide best service to both employee and employer. They went one step ahead and offered me the Tax reduction as per schemes provided by the govt.

"Easy to refund, easy to get paid"
What do you like best about Oyster? I like Oyster because I can get paid quickly once the invoices are approved. There are other intermediaries that can delay the payment for a couple of days for an international transfer.
