"Great tool for transcribing videos for education"

What do you like best about Otter.ai? I love the ease of use that Otter.ai provides. It makes it easy to upload and transcribe videos. What do you dislike about Otter.ai?

"Does the job"

What do you like best about Otter.ai? It is easy and free to create transcripts in the app. I like that I can just hit record and know I will have a transcript when the conversation is over. We've been using it to create show notes and transcripts for a company podcast The price is definitely right, you get 600 minutes a month for free (10 hours) so if you're not going through too much content it is more than enough. It's also pretty good at speaker identification, which makes life easier.

What do you like best about Otter.ai? Right off the bat, Otter.ai is able to start working for you, making it easy to use, and even though it's simple enough to get started it had a powerful and smart transcription capability. I like how it records your audio AND turns your spoken words into a sharable text format. You can even share the recorded audio which doubles up your content creation. You speak your content, can edit the text within the app, then share to a document format for let's ...

"Saves time for long transcription projects"

What do you like best about Otter.ai? My job requires me to make transcriptions of recorded audio. Sometimes the files I transcribe are three to four hours long. Otter helps give me a reasonably accurate transcript that lets me quickly find the specific sound byte I need. After I discovered that sound byte, I could manually transcribe for higher accuracy in my final transcript. I like how Otter is good at separating voices from different speakers.

What do you like best about Otter.ai? Great for note taking and identifying different speakers. I also like how it creates tags for topics that came up and how you can search for words as well as correct what it got wrong.
