It is very good cube technology. Hae been using it for years ASO only. BSO is slow.
What do you like best? You can add all the dimensions that are needed. It is quite flexible and has rich set of attributes. The technology is quite mature. What do you dislike? ASO aggregate view may take a lokng time to re-build. ASO build may cause conflicts with data loads. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Financial Planning and profitability and cost managment.

What do you like best? i liked that all on prem essbase functionality has been retained in the cloud addition to that dashboard building functionality has been really helpful. What do you dislike? data movement from on prem to cloud is not totally that intutive. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? no problems.

What do you like best? Essbase and Planning are my favorite tools for Forecasting, Planning, and Analytics using a multi-dimensional framework. Ad hoc analysis in Smart View paired with Essbase continues to be incredibly valuable tool for getting through the close process and forecasting/budgeting cycles. What do you like best? Given the ability to migrate the Essbase applications to cloud, with hybrid capabilities gives the best Database with much anticiapted analytics reporting capbilities What do you dislike? don't have access to OTL management., cant update the Outline directly from the application, User liesence are based on processor which is costly or based on time used not on named user. Give it a shot....
What do you like best? Having a cohesive platform that takes advantage of our existing Oracle products has been a huge benefit. We do not have to worry about translating or syncing of systems across different platforms. What do you dislike? None come to mind. There really is nothing that I can think of. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We have been able to analyze site traffic and utilization which has helped drive many new features.

What do you like best? calculation engine, aggreagation power, outline order, properties, how fast is to calculate and how nice is to create outlines and how he respect the order of members and its properties. NEed to Get back to old School essbase
What do you like best? Essbase is the best tool period. There is nothing we cant do with it and customers love it What do you dislike? THe fact the Oracle sales team has no clue on how to sell it and ORacle seems to forgot they have it and continue to not make it a priority What problems are you solving with the product?
