Seamless Integration
What do you like best? Oracle Enterprise Manager is the solution for those companies with a wide variety of skills. Whether your group have a highly refined trade skill or a Masters degree, they will be able to integrate Oracle seamlessly. What do you dislike? My one and only complaint with this device is that you have to be connected on-site when opening the app for the first time. The past two times I have purchased a new device, I needed to access our secure intranet the same ...

One stop solution for testing, deploying and monitoring activities
What do you like best? It’s a web based tool which manages softwares as well as hardware where you can also tune in several databases. What do you dislike? It’s very expensive is the only thing I don’t like about it. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? It can handle a large amount of data and there a lot of documentation available if needed.

We use it for Oracle fusion middleware family and Databases
What do you like best? Oracle Enterprise Manager provides a single point of control for your applications and databases. It provides out of box automation in form of monitoring templates and reporting templates. I also love the new Administrative Group introduced in 13.1 version onward. It's a single point for patch control for all your deployments being monitored through OEM. What do you dislike? While OEM makes monitoring super convenient and eliminates scope of human/scripting ...

Monitoring and Administration for Oracle Enterprise Products
What do you like best? Oracle Enterprise Manager is a sophisticated monitoring and administration tool. It's easy to install and easy to add targets (monitoring targets). I like the security administration and patch recommendations. You don't have to look for required patches, OEM does it for you based on the targets you have added into it. What do you dislike? It's a resource intensive product. It uses a lot of CPU and memory. Also, licensing is complicated, apart from Base version, ...

Oracle Enterprise Manager Review
What do you like best? It kept a log of all our issue tickets going back many years. Oracle made it easy to collaborate on issue tickets and work with my team members. It offered a number of features for formatting and inserting images and links, to make our issue tickets resemble an email. Oracle helped our department to delegate issue tickets and monitor each other's projects. What do you dislike? The search function was very poor, which made it difficult to find our issue ...

OEM is helpful
What do you like best? I like having all the domains and all server monitoring in one place. Easy access to get visibility into our entire system. What do you dislike? Not intuitive as to where controls will be that you need. Not easy to find different items. Recommendations to others considering the product: Really not very much to recommend. I did not set it up, it's a little finicky to set up I hear. I can't log in at the moment, so that doesn't help. I have a tough time ...

Oracle's on-premise administration and monitoring platform
What do you like best? Oracle Enterprise Manager is a highly sophisticated administration and monitoring platform for all Oracle deployments in your organization. It is accessed via a browser which makes it even more convenient as client machine where OEM needs to be accessed doesn't have to be a specific platform. It has great components for patching and updates, monitoring etc. which over time makes you use it on daily basis. What do you dislike? You .may have to buy additional ...

Skies the limit
What do you like best? Ease of deployment. Versatile Applications. What do you dislike? Proprietary restrictions prevent true embedding for maximum results. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? During my internship, one of my responsibilities was to handle incoming customer controls to navigate system downtime experience. Reporting on major missing Support documents as software was progressing. Having real time learning modules now ...
