Great database, but a lilttle hard to configure users

What do you like best? I like the ability for my students to install their own database on their home PC and log in to it. What do you dislike? The installation is a little tricky, and the configuration of a single user is so complicated that I've reverted to Oracle 11. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Ability for my students to get a database running on their PC so they can learn SQL and PL/SQL.

What do you like best? I love that Oracle is rock solid and I never have to question if it has features or can maintain whatever throughput or load we are putting on it. What do you like best? Man, what a workhorse, stable and reliable. What do you dislike? Requires a lot of expertise.
