Good and easy app to centralize monitoring
What do you like best? We have lot of monitoring applications around all our environments (different domains, apps, O.S., Databases) and we are able to receive and handle alerts/warnings from all them with this app What do you dislike? Highly recommended service for companies
What do you like best? I like how OpsGenie will alert you for a certain amount of time and will alert others in the group if OpsGenie didn't receive an acknowledgement for the original alert. We have it set up to message the person on call - call the person - then call the manager on duty - then call the whole department. What do you dislike? I sometimes think the calendar on the web interface can be more user friendly but I personally don't have any major issues. What problems ...

Easy Integrations and Alert Management
What do you like best? OpsGenie's reliability has never been a concern. Alerts are timely and easy to manage. What do you dislike? The mobile app continues to show it's age, has numerous UI logic and flow issues that make it cumbersome to navigate. Also... no landscape on iPad... why? Recommendations to others considering the product: Take the time to create teams and understand how escalations work with schedules. Things can get complex if you don't plan ahead. What problems ...

I use OpsGenie as a Systems Engineer everyday
What do you like best? Team based groups, with scheduling timelines and calendars. What do you dislike? General alert fatigue, just like with any other monitoring system. Can't live without it and can't stand alerts blowing up notifications when systems go down but let's face it.. it's needed and required. What do you like best? OpsGenie is extremely flexible, with lots of possibilities for customizing how alerts are routed. Does the job but doesn't excel
What do you like best? Team sheduling (with temporary reassignments), lots of plugins What do you dislike? Would like to have a better alert panel with in-your-face status and severity. Good tool for on call rotation
What do you like best? I don’t need to hand around an on call phone. What do you dislike? On IOS I cannot override the volume of the phone for alerts What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We have our on call rotation managed via OpsGenie
