OpsGenie serves as a critical tool vastly improve escalation management increasing system stability

What do you like best? I like that OpsGenie has a wide array of 3rd party integrations including Slack. The Slack integration has vastly improved awareness outside of the Engineering organization to critical issues by feeding the issues into a channel that key stakeholders can be a member of. Being able to tailor different escalations for different channels means that we can reduce "spam" messages and drive critical information to intended audience. What do you dislike? I feel that ...

OpsGenie is a no-brainer!

What do you like best? I've been an OpsGenie customer for about 2 years now and I've NEVER had a single problem. Everything "just works" as you'd expect. Their support is wonderful. (Every time I've had to contact them it ended up that I was doing something wrong). They're super responsive and very flexible with requests. In additional to everything you'd expect from their product, I'm a huge fan of the Heartbeats feature, the rich notification policy abilities and the vast array of ...

Puts Mind at Ease

What do you like best? I am a business developer, not a traditional software engineer, and the most common complaint I hear with technologies used by the business is "Why were we not notified that this was down?!?" It is a night and day difference to be able to tap into ops genie to build monitoring scripts and no longer have to worry about that day in day out! What do you dislike? Lack of Customizability to notify certain individuals on a team rather than the whole team with out ...

OpsGenie is a great alerting and paging platform!

What do you like best? It just works! Also, the engineers worked with us very closely to get our integrations going very quickly. What do you dislike? Some of the navigation is a bit difficult to figure out, but once you get used to it, there's no issue. Recommendations to others considering the product: OpsGenie is a great alerting and paging service. I would highly recommend it. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We needed to ...

A great paging app for the modern devops/sysadmin

What do you like best? There are a multitude of easy to use options, like the multiple schedules per team, different rotation cycles, easy integration with 3rd party monitoring and alerting platforms. What do you dislike? There are slight issues with the Android app but the devs have assured us they are being worked on. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We needed a way to stop alerting all the staff on every alerts and make sure to ...

New reporting might make this product a home run

What do you like best? The app rocks. Less than 3 years ago our IT department was still carrying a physical pager. We had to hand it off every Friday. WHAT A PAIN! Vintage may be cool in clothes and wine but I assure you it was not good when it came to being alerted of a technology challenge. What do you dislike? The initial reporting was decent but had some holes. It looks like the new version is far more robust and will likely resolve a few gaps I was filling with a spreadsheet. ...
