Excellent alerting features and good app. Quick support
What do you like best? Quick support and a feature request was followed up and even got build in. Elaborate scheduling of people and teams is possible and easy to setup What do you dislike? Some features like turning of certain parts of schedules can only be done with admin rights. It would be nice if permissions could be set instead of just role selecting Recommendations to others considering the product: Excellent features and support. What problems are you solving with ...

Opsgenie is a better application for checking the ON call rotation policy
What do you like best? We can swap our On call with our peers in a team. We can check the issue very easily whoever is in ON call. What do you dislike? Everything looks fine, but there should be a swapping option which is used to swap ON call with other members in a team What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Every ongoing issue which is coming i outlook is seen in Opsgenie which is very helpful. We can install the app in our handset and ...

OpsGenie is a no-brainer!
What do you like best? I've been an OpsGenie customer for about 2 years now and I've NEVER had a single problem. Everything "just works" as you'd expect. Their support is wonderful. (Every time I've had to contact them it ended up that I was doing something wrong). They're super responsive and very flexible with requests. In additional to everything you'd expect from their product, I'm a huge fan of the Heartbeats feature, the rich notification policy abilities and the vast array of ...

Opsgenie made us happy again
What do you like best? We are a company who is growing fast and our alerts system wasn't able to keep up. Opsgenie has a system that reasonably easy to implement and has made our department much happier with me. What do you dislike? I say reasonably easy, but making it work with our specific needs took a lot of learning and creativity. In the end it works though What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We were able to implement on-call ...

New reporting might make this product a home run
What do you like best? The app rocks. Less than 3 years ago our IT department was still carrying a physical pager. We had to hand it off every Friday. WHAT A PAIN! Vintage may be cool in clothes and wine but I assure you it was not good when it came to being alerted of a technology challenge. What do you dislike? The initial reporting was decent but had some holes. It looks like the new version is far more robust and will likely resolve a few gaps I was filling with a spreadsheet. ...

What benefits have you realized? the Voice and mobile alerts, and mobile acknowledge allow me to hold NOC team members accountable to SLAs

Puts Mind at Ease
What do you like best? I am a business developer, not a traditional software engineer, and the most common complaint I hear with technologies used by the business is "Why were we not notified that this was down?!?" It is a night and day difference to be able to tap into ops genie to build monitoring scripts and no longer have to worry about that day in day out! What do you dislike? Lack of Customizability to notify certain individuals on a team rather than the whole team with out ...

Rather have a Genie than a pager
What do you like best? The entire system is extremely flexible and easy to customize to our exact needs What do you dislike? Some portions of the system are a little confusing on how they will behave when reading descriptions. Namely how escalations and repeat notifications will be handled. Having a KB article with some examples of the workflow might help. Recommendations to others considering the product: Don't waste your time with other solutions. What problems are you solving ...

I love OpsGenie
What do you like best? I like that if you are not on call you don't receive alerts. What do you dislike? There is nothing I dislike at the momemnt. Recommendations to others considering the product: Give OPSGenie a try you will not regret it. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We have multiple international groups that use OpsGenie. It makes thing really easy when we have to do an on-call handoff.

A great paging app for the modern devops/sysadmin
What do you like best? There are a multitude of easy to use options, like the multiple schedules per team, different rotation cycles, easy integration with 3rd party monitoring and alerting platforms. What do you dislike? There are slight issues with the Android app but the devs have assured us they are being worked on. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We needed a way to stop alerting all the staff on every alerts and make sure to ...
