Handles licensing tasks for us.

PROS: Documentum takes care of all the nitty-gritty of product launches for us. It handles the tasks that not a lot of us in the company are subject-matter experts of--such as the processing of licenses and feasibility of projects. This tool has given us a good value for our money, considering the number of people there is in our company.

Pretty positive experience so far.

PROS: First of all, I agree with most reviews saying that this tool is user-friendly. I was able to learn it very quickly. Second, I think it’s great how it allows the admin to restrict access to certain documents. It is through this that we can rest easy in knowing that some of our more classified documents are protected. Getting approval is pretty efficient in this platform too. What do you like best about OpenText Documentum? Documentum is great for easily uploading files into a single storage file. There are so many tags you can put on each file so that they are easy to find later. You can search and store by date, time, file name, student information, etc. The best part is being able to sort through information based on different tags. What do you like best about OpenText Documentum? The architecture means easy implementation of new packages for users who don’t directly deal with technical and financial aspects of licensing too. Makes it easy to use in particularly large offices, and at minimal cost.
