You’ll be charged $156 for downloading their app
I downloaded the OpenPhone app to try via my Googleplay account. After about 3 minutes, I realized the service wasn’t for me and I deleted the app. I was never issued a phone number by OpenPhone and my googleplay account shows no record of my having subscribed for the OpenPhone service. Imagine my shock today, one week after I deleted the app, when I received a receipt from OpenPhone after they charged my credit card $156. "Good but could use improvements"
What do you like best about OpenPhone? Lots of helpful features like auto-replies and business hours. Also, you can record different VM messages for different needs. It is also reasonably intuitive to use.

What do you like best about OpenPhone? First of all, The price is quite affordable spot for the feature set provided. The call recording is a must-have for my organization and openphone does it quite well. Scalability is another positive.

"The better alternative"
What do you like best about OpenPhone? So far everything. We switched from Ring Central to Open Phone. It honestly felt like switching from an 1995 PC to a new macbook pro. The clunky UI, terrible customer service, and constant usability issues seemingly vanished when we switched.

What do you like best about OpenPhone? OpenPhone is a combined VoIP and team collaboration software, and I love that. We are a small truck dispatching business; most business is done over the phone. We are in constant communication with drivers, shippers and brokers. We use a primary number for our business, and multiple team members can call and text simultaneously using the same number. "Works well"
What do you like best about OpenPhone? Nice to have your own number. App works well. I had to cancel do to budget issues, but the customer service was so nice and refunded me even though they didn't have to.
