Expert's Review

Notion has completely transformed the way I organize, collaborate, and manage information across projects and teams. It’s an incredibly powerful and flexible tool that functions as a knowledge base, document library, and task manager all in one. Its customization capabilities let me build anything from CRM systems to editorial calendars without writing a single ...Read more

Notion pros and cons

  • Notion seamlessly combines note-taking, task management, knowledge base, and project collaboration into one intuitive platform, eliminating the need for switching between multiple apps.

  • Users can tailor pages and workflows with databases, Kanban boards, calendars, and templates to suit personal or team needs, promoting efficiency and clarity.

  • Real-time editing, shared workspaces, comments, and mentions make collaboration smooth and ideal for distributed teams.

  • Every piece of content is indexed and instantly searchable, making it easy to locate documents, tasks, or even specific discussions quickly.

  • Notion’s performance in offline mode is subpar, which may frustrate users who frequently work without internet access.

  • While it integrates with tools like Zapier, Notion lacks built-in automation and time tracking, which could limit its use in more complex workflow environments.

Collaborate on policies with Notion!

What do you like best? I like how Notion handles security and version control. I can tag a specific set of people and whenever there are changes, I am alerted via email that one of the people has edited the document. What do you dislike? I dislike how it's hard to track your documents over the months and years. I've written several things that have been lost in obscurity. It would be useful if there was a directory. Recommendations to others considering the product: I highly ...

A do-anything text based organiser

What do you like best? It's so easy to use the keyboard to generate all kinds of items from simple notes and lists, to To-Dos, toggles, reminders, up to full fledged database type entries. What do you dislike? As with anything this powerful there is a learning curve. However, there is also plenty of contextual help. You can encounter most possibilities just by typing slash/. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? It has replaced Evernote ...

Notion: a game-changer for content management

What do you like best? Uh oh. This feels like an Evernote/Dropbox/Asana killer. Notion feels like a Slack channel for personal productivity. Its easy to use, intuitive, design-friendly user interface makes it a breeze to setup different templates for different projects. No more clunky switching between multiple systems to get work done, Notion feels more like an all-in-one content system due to their clever links and relational databases. What do you dislike? Don't see a downside yet. ...

Great, but still lots of work to do

What do you like best? It's minimalistic design, together with the feeling that yu can use notion for everything What do you dislike? The lack of an usable api is what brings notion down. If there were only an integration with zapier, I would be much happier Recommendations to others considering the product: Be sure to invest a lot of time in the set up What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We're trying to solve collaboration ...

Robust

What do you like best? The best of notion is its practicality and ability to meet different scenarios. There are several templates, which aids different needs. What do you dislike? Notion's downside for me is its edit mode. Who has edit access just clicks and edits like in a document and this can sometimes create some mess. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Enterprise Wiki: Its full range of templates make it easy for you to make the ...

Great tool totally free for students

What do you like best? Notion has a very clean and slick look and feel to it. It is easy and intuitive to use and lets you work in a personal workspace as well as in separate work workspaces. I used it heavily for planning and writing my thesis. The minimalist style made it easy to focus while writing and editing. What do you dislike? When I last used the desktop app is had some issues that prevented my from using it (this was around a year ago though so it may have been fixed). ...

New to Notion, but loving it!

The dashboard is very easy to follow and shows you all of your overall projects in one trackable place. What do you dislike? So far, we haven't run into much trouble What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We have seen that it is very easy to use, that all teams pick it up quickly and it gives you a good quick overview of the ...

Ideal note application

What do you like best? Honestly, notion works like a charm. In my company we use Notion to build documentations easily with their default styles. It's really fast and collaborative. What do you dislike? The dark mode is frustrating to enable and quite regularly it changes back to the white screen. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We create documentation, project notes, quick notes and almost everything within the team. We also use ...

One of my favorite apps

What do you like best? Notion is an incredibly user-centric app that is very intuitive to use. I love the toggle option and the tables especially, but it is generally just one of the best apps I have used for day-to-day work and organization. Also, the customer service is really excellent. What do you dislike? Honestly there is nothing that I particularly dislike about this app. Every time I think of a new feature that would be useful they come out with it a few months later. I am ...
