Spotsaas Editor’s POV
Notion has completely transformed the way I organize, collaborate, and manage information across projects and teams. Its customization capabilities let me build anything from CRM systems to editorial calendars without writing a single ...Read more
Notion pros and cons
Notion seamlessly combines note-taking, task management, knowledge base, and project collaboration into one intuitive platform, eliminating the need for switching between multiple apps.
Users can tailor pages and workflows with databases, Kanban boards, calendars, and templates to suit personal or team needs, promoting efficiency and clarity.
Real-time editing, shared workspaces, comments, and mentions make collaboration smooth and ideal for distributed teams.
Every piece of content is indexed and instantly searchable, making it easy to locate documents, tasks, or even specific discussions quickly.
Notion’s performance in offline mode is subpar, which may frustrate users who frequently work without internet access.
While it integrates with tools like Zapier, Notion lacks built-in automation and time tracking, which could limit its use in more complex workflow environments.

Fantastic all-in-one tool
What do you like best? The all-in-one nature of Notion is helpful. I can keep almost everything related to my project in one place, which is really great for organizing and sharing information. What do you dislike? I am not a fan of the text editing capabilities -- I always find myself wanting more customization options for the text editor. Recommendations to others considering the product There is a learning curve to figuring out how to use it, so give it some time, play with it a bit ...

Pretty easy to build Wiki not the best if you just need templates
What do you like best? Its nice to have the flexibility to create pages and add whatever information needs to be tracked. The icons add a little fun and interest. Pages can be shared with clients without complete access to the database. We are able to add links with ease. What do you dislike? It could be easy to layer tons of pages and make it difficult to find things if the users are not careful Recommendations to others considering the product You need someone who will lead the charge ...

Love this project management software
What do you like best? Notion was actually a fairly new product when my team first implememented but now I can confidently say I can’t remember ever successfully organizing and managing team projects and daily tasks before it. Just a solid overall product with refined features and a wide range of capabilities. What do you dislike? I’ve experience some minor glitches since starting with the product but nothing that has ever cause any significant setback or inconvenience. The only other ...

What do you like best? Notion is easily searchable for different team and process pages. Clean UI and very intuitive. Having the desktop app is a huge plus as well What do you dislike? There is not really anything I dislike about notion that would make anything count against it. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? This is a great place for employees to look up information regarding teams/processes when you first start at a company.
